What is Cue for Treason about?
In Elizabethan England, Peter Brownrigg is forced to flee after standing up to the cruel Sir Philip Morton. Hunted and wrongly accused, he journeys towards London, where he meets Kit and joins a travelling theatre company. Their new life brings them close to William Shakespeare and the excitement of the stage, but Peter and Kit soon uncover a dangerous plot. As spies close in, the friends must use courage, quick thinking and disguises to survive—and prevent treason from threatening the queen.
