Shasta has always dreamed of escaping Calormen, especially after discovering that the man he calls his father plans to sell him. When he meets Bree, a talking horse from Narnia, they flee together towards the North. Along the way, they join Aravis, a noble girl escaping an unwanted marriage, and her talking horse, Hwin. As the four travellers race across dangerous lands, they uncover a plot to invade Narnia and must find the courage and speed to stop it.

Clive Staples Lewis, often known as C. S. Lewis, was a British author who loved to write magical stories. He is most famous for creating The Chronicles of Narnia, a series of books where children have amazing adventures in a land filled with talking animals and brave heroes. His stories have inspired children all around the world.
