What is North of Nowhere about?
When Mia’s grandad disappears, she travels with her mum to the seaside village of Porthaven to help her worried grandmother. There, Mia discovers a diary on an abandoned fishing boat and begins exchanging messages with Dee, a mysterious girl she never seems able to meet. Dee insists she is trapped by violent storms, yet Mia sees only sunshine. As strange clues point towards a secret involving time, Mia must uncover the truth before her grandad and her new friend are lost forever.
