What is Emmeline about?

As a child, Emmeline Pankhurst loved stories about brave people who stood up for others. When she grew up, she saw that women in Britain could not vote, so she decided to help change this unfair rule. With courage, determination and the support of other campaigners, Emmeline led the fight for women’s voting rights. This colourful board book introduces young children to the remarkable suffragette whose actions helped change Britain and inspired people around the world.
