What is The Elephant & The Tailor about?
Each day, a friendly elephant visits a tailor’s shop after bathing in the village pond. The tailor rewards him with bananas, and the elephant gratefully leaves a lotus flower outside the shop. But when the tailor has a bad day, he hurts the elephant with a needle. Hurt and angry, the elephant returns with a trunkful of muddy water and sprays it over the tailor’s precious cloth. This lively fable shows how unkind actions can have messy consequences.
