Ivy and her shape-shifting familiar, Tom, travel with the Sand Witch to a faraway volcanic island in search of magical ingredients. But their quest takes a dangerous turn when they discover that the Vampixies, strange creatures with a taste for magic, are plotting to drain Miracula of every last spell. With the world’s magic at risk, Ivy and her friends must solve the mystery, face the fearsome Queen Drusilla and find a way to save their enchanted home.

Derek Keilty is a children’s author from Northern Ireland who loves to write exciting adventure stories. He is best known for his ‘Flyntlock Bones: The Sceptre of the Pharaohs’ series, which features pirates, mysteries, and lots of fun. Derek enjoys visiting schools and inspiring children to use their imagination through reading and writing.
