Ferris Foster’s life is turned upside down when an unexploded Second World War bomb is found beneath his school. With lessons moved home, Ferris struggles to find peace for his cartoons, especially with his chaotic new foster brother, Nile, around. When the school launches a design competition, the boys must put their differences aside and work together. As worries about family, fostering and the future grow, Ferris and Nile discover that understanding each other may be their biggest challenge yet.

Jen Carney is a children’s author and illustrator who loves making people laugh with her books. She is best known for writing ‘The Accidental Diary of B.U.G.’ series, full of fun adventures and doodles. Jen enjoys drawing, eating biscuits, and spending time with her family and her dog.
