What is A gift for a ghost about?
In 1856, Teresa dreams of becoming a poet rather than marrying suitably, filling her notebooks with strange, unsettling verses. In 2016, three teenagers form the Black Holes, a punk band with plenty of attitude but very little musical ability. As the girls begin rehearsing, eerie events connect their lives with Teresa’s across more than a century. Their friendship, creativity and curiosity draw them towards a mystery involving ghosts, forgotten desires and a past that refuses to stay buried.
