What is Sir Lambalot about?

Queen Floss is worried about the dragons, giants and trolls who live beyond her castle, so she sends her busiest knight, Sir Lambalot, to drive them away. With his trusty steed Ned, Sir Lambalot journeys through the land to find each fearsome creature. But the dragon, giant and troll are not what he expects. As he listens to their stories, he learns that appearances can deceive and that kindness, understanding and acceptance are far better than fear or judgement.

Jude Lennon is a children’s author and storyteller from Liverpool who loves helping young readers discover the joy of books. She writes bright, playful stories featuring characters such as Lamby, including Astronaut Lamby and Sir Lambalot! Jude visits schools, libraries and festivals, where she shares stories and encourages children to use their imaginations. Before becoming a full-time writer, she was a primary teacher, so she knows how to make reading fun, friendly and exciting for everyone.
