What is The Memory Book about?
A little girl loves spending time with her grandma: reading stories, playing the piano, feeding the birds and looking through old photographs. Then Grandma begins forgetting names and faces, and familiar things become confusing. With help from Mum, the girl learns that Grandma has dementia. Although dementia changes how Grandma thinks and remembers, she is still the same loving person. This gentle picture book offers a child-friendly explanation of dementia and shows how families can stay close through change.
