What is Rose Blanche about?

Rose Blanche lives in a small German town during the Second World War. When soldiers arrive and a frightened boy disappears, she follows their lorry into the woods. There she discovers a barbed-wire camp filled with hungry prisoners. Although she does not understand the full horror around her, Rose secretly brings them food, risking her own safety. Through her innocent eyes, the story reveals the cruelty of war, the courage of kindness, and the terrible cost of looking away.
