What is Disney's the Wild about?
Ryan, the young son of Samson the lion, has always lived safely in a zoo. But when he escapes and is carried away to Africa, Samson sets off on a daring rescue mission with his animal friends. Together, they must face dangerous predators, unfamiliar surroundings and the challenges of the wild. As Samson searches for Ryan, he must prove that courage is more than a mighty roar—and that being a good father means never giving up.
