What is Twoo Twit about?

Twoo Twit is a young owl with feathers, a beak and enormous eyes—but not much sense. While the other animals learn at school, he would rather play on hay bales, mess about by the stream and avoid his lessons. Then, one night, he climbs into the church tower and gets a terrifying surprise when the bell begins to ring. After his frightening adventure, Twoo Twit starts to understand that learning to read might be rather useful after all.
