What is Cyril the lonely cloud about?
Cyril is a lonely cloud. Wherever he goes, people groan when his shadow covers the sun, and they blame him for spoiling their days. So Cyril drifts away over fields, towns and oceans, hoping to find somewhere he will be welcome. At last, he reaches a hot, thirsty land where his shade brings relief and joy. Cyril is so happy that he begins to cry, and his raindrops transform the dry earth, showing how everyone has something special to offer.
