What is The Mousehole cat about?
The Mousehole Cat follows Mowzer, a clever black-and-white cat, and Old Tom, a fisherman in the Cornish village of Mousehole. When a fierce winter storm traps the boats in the harbour and the villagers run out of food, Tom and Mowzer brave the raging sea to catch fish. But a monstrous Storm-Cat guards the harbour entrance. As waves crash around their tiny boat, Mowzer discovers that her gentle purr may be the only thing powerful enough to calm the storm and save the village.
