What is The big dark about?
Little Chinoo is tired of the endless Arctic darkness. One morning, he sets off with his parents on a mysterious journey. Along the way, he meets a playful polar bear, a wolf cub and a baby walrus, but there is no time to stop and play. Why must Chinoo hurry? At last, he discovers the wonderful reason: they are travelling to see the sun rise. As daylight returns, Chinoo can finally enjoy playing outdoors once more.
