Synopsis

Mattie dreams of having a puppy, but her dad thinks she's not ready. When she and her friend Zoë discover an injured puppy, they take it to Dr Polly, the new village vet. Alongside Dr Polly's son, Casper, they become apprentice vets, caring for a variety of animals. As the rescue centre fills up, the trio sets out to find forever homes for their furry friends. Can they succeed and perhaps even change Mattie's dad's mind?
