What is Magpie and the Sparkling Words about?
Magpie loves collecting sparkling words from the woodland animals and keeping them safe in her nest. Soon, the forest falls silent as everyone stops talking to protect their words. Then a powerful storm scatters Magpie’s precious collection across the ground. As the animals gather to reclaim their words, Magpie discovers that language is brighter when it is shared. Told in lively rhyme and filled with rich vocabulary, this gentle story celebrates kindness, friendship, teamwork and the joy of discovering wonderful words.
