What is Ly-Lan and the new class mix-up about?

Ly-Lan is ready for a brilliant start to third grade, but things quickly go wrong. Her best friend, Cece, is placed in a different class, and Ly-Lan is asked to help a new Vietnamese pupil find her way around school. Ly-Lan would rather spend time with Cece and cannot understand why her prayers have not been answered. As she faces disappointment and change, Ly-Lan must learn to trust God, welcome someone new and discover that unexpected plans can still lead to friendship.
