What is The magpie's tail: a Swedish graphic folktale about?
A young boy wishes for all the lovely things other children have, but he has no idea how to get them. Then an old woman reveals a curious secret: sprinkle salt on a magpie’s tail and the bird will grant his wish. When the boy tries it, the magpie agrees—but only if he completes some strange requests first. Will he succeed, or will the clever bird outwit him? This lively Swedish folktale is told through engaging, easy-to-follow graphic panels.
