Synopsis
A young boy discovers a penguin at his doorstep and assumes it's lost. Determined to help, he embarks on a journey to return the penguin to the South Pole. Along the way, they face storms and share stories, forging a deep bond. Upon arrival, the boy realises the penguin wasn't lost but lonely, leading to a heartfelt reunion and a newfound friendship.
About the author
Oliver Jeffers is a much-loved author and illustrator from Northern Ireland. He creates imaginative picture books, including the famous ‘Lost and Found’ and ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. Oliver’s stories are full of adventure and heart, and his playful drawings help to bring his wonderful characters and worlds to life.
