What is Perron family haunting about?
When the Perron family moved into an old farmhouse in Rhode Island, they were warned to keep the lights on at night. Strange noises, unexplained smells, moving objects and frightening apparitions soon made the house feel far from safe. The family believed a spirit called Bathsheba was behind the haunting. This illustrated non-fiction book explores the family’s claims, the investigations that followed and how their story helped inspire the horror film The Conjuring, while also considering why some people remain sceptical.
