What is Not-so-Sleeping Beauty: an untraditional graphic novel about?
Ava is tired of fairy tales where princesses wait helplessly for a prince to rescue them. When she tumbles into the story of Sleeping Beauty, she meets Briar Rose and decides it is time for a change. Together, they question the old rules, stand up for themselves and find a clever way to take control of their own adventure. This lively graphic novel gives a familiar fairy tale a funny, modern twist, celebrating friendship, courage and speaking up.
