What is Cat and Dog about?

Cat and Dog both want to look smart, smooth and shiny. They spend time grooming themselves and admiring their fine appearances. But when Cat decides to comb Dog, things quickly go wrong. Cat brushes Dog’s fur the wrong way, leaving him looking shaggy and ridiculous. Dog is furious and chases Cat, who scrambles up a tree to escape. This playful traditional tale explains why dogs chase cats and why cats climb trees, with plenty of humour along the way.
