What is The Pedlar's Caps about?

A pedlar travels from town to town with a tall stack of colourful caps balanced on his head. One day, nobody comes out to greet him, so he rests beneath a tree. While he sleeps, a band of cheeky monkeys sneak away with nearly all his caps! When the pedlar wakes, he must think quickly to get them back. Will he outsmart the monkeys and recover his caps, or will he have to continue his journey wearing only one?
