What is Red: a crayon's story about?

Red is a crayon with a puzzling problem: his label says he is red, but everything he draws comes out blue. His teacher, family and fellow art supplies all try to help, offering advice and encouragement, yet nothing seems to work. Then Red meets a new friend who sees him differently. With a little understanding and the freedom to be himself, Red discovers what he can really do—and learns that labels do not always tell the whole story.
