About the author

Hughie Higginson is a young author and fundraiser from Lancashire. He co-wrote the cheerful picture book Friends Are Amazing with his best friend, Freddie Xavi. In the book, the pair share simple, thoughtful ideas about friendship, kindness and being a brilliant friend. Hughie is also known for working with Freddie to support children’s hospitals and for winning a Pride of Britain award. His writing celebrates togetherness and shows how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
