What is When My Brain Is Messy about?
A young dinosaur’s world can sometimes feel too loud, too bright and too much. When big feelings and sensory experiences become overwhelming, gentle support from trusted grown-ups helps them notice what their body needs and find a calmer way through. Told in soothing rhyme, this reassuring picture book explores autism, ADHD, sensory differences and emotional regulation. It gives children simple words for their experiences while showing that needing comfort, quiet or deep pressure is a perfectly understandable part of being themselves.
