What is Weird School Day: Weirdibeasts 1. Book 1 about?

On Katie Cat’s first day at school, something very strange happens: she wakes up with feathers, fur, whiskers and wings. She looks like several different animals all mixed together, and she is not sure where she belongs. As Katie joins her classmates, she discovers that being unusual does not stop her from taking part, making friends and enjoying the day. A funny, gentle story about starting school, feeling different and finding confidence among new friends.
