What is The Twelve Days of Christmas about?

Celebrate the twelve days of Christmas with this lively counting book based on the traditional festive carol. Starting with one partridge in a pear tree, each new verse adds another colourful gift, from dancing ladies to drummers drumming. Young children can join in with the familiar repeated words, practise counting from one to twelve and enjoy the cheerful rhythm. With its simple text and seasonal theme, this classic song makes a fun introduction to numbers, singing and Christmas traditions.
