Hen gives Pig a thoughtful present, and Pig is so pleased that he decides to do something kind for Rabbit. Rabbit passes the kindness on to Cow, then Cow helps Cat, and soon the whole farmyard is taking part in a cheerful chain of good deeds. With bright illustrations, repeated phrases and a playful pattern, each act of generosity leads to another. But when the kindness comes full circle, Hen receives a surprising gift of her own.
