What is Pebble the Pony about?

Pebble the pony lives on a lonely moor, where he enjoys meeting holidaymakers and nibbling their picnic leftovers. Curious about the town, he sets off to explore it, but the busy streets are far less welcoming than he imagined. Lost and frightened, Pebble is rescued by kind Miss Moss, who guides him home. Soon he begins visiting her farm, helping with errands when she cannot reach the shops. Before long, the adventurous pony and the gentle old lady become firm friends.
