What is The Unicorn Academy series by Julie Sykes about?
First published in 2019, Julie Sykes’s Unicorn Academy series follows pupils at a magical boarding school on Unicorn Island, where every child is paired with a unicorn and learns to work as a team. Each book focuses on a different girl and her unicorn, combining school life, friendship problems and magical mysteries. As the series progresses, the characters face increasingly urgent threats to the island’s magic while learning about courage, loyalty, communication and responsibility.
