What is The Little Golden Book series by Disney Books about?
Disney’s Little Golden Books began in 1948 and continue today, retelling stories from animated films while adding adventures featuring princesses, Pixar characters, Star Wars heroes and Disney Parks favourites. The collection progresses from classic characters such as Mickey Mouse to newer films and original themed stories, usually in brief, richly illustrated formats. Best suited to pre-school children aged around two to five, especially listeners discovering familiar characters. Some books include mild peril, villains, spooky imagery or moments of separation, but these are generally gently resolved.
