What is The Find Spot series by Eric Hill about?

Created by Eric Hill in the late 1970s and first published in 1980, Find Spot follows a curious puppy through playful searches, everyday outings and gentle adventures. The series develops from simple hide-and-seek stories into books about routines, animals, first concepts and early vocabulary, often using interactive lift-the-flap pages. Its clear language, repetition and bright, uncluttered artwork suit toddlers and preschoolers, especially children who enjoy joining in and guessing. There are no significant content concerns, though occasional mischief, surprises and brief separation may prompt discussion.
