Beginning with The Worrysaurus in 2019, Rachel Bright’s DinoFeelings series follows young dinosaurs as they encounter big, familiar emotions. Each rhyming picture book focuses on a different challenge, moving from worry and kindness to frustration, perseverance, listening, shyness and feeling overwhelmed. With colourful illustrations by Chris Chatterton, the stories offer approachable starting points for conversations about emotional wellbeing. Best suited to children aged 3–6, they may especially appeal to little ones facing new experiences. Mild peril, conflict and anxious feelings feature, but there is no significant content concern.
