Hamish, the lighthouse keeper's cat, loves his food, especially Star-gazy pie. When Mr and Mrs Grinling decide to put him on a diet to encourage him to catch the naughty mice, Hamish runs away in search of a new home. However, he soon discovers that there's no place like home.

Ronda Armitage is a much-loved author from New Zealand who now lives in England. She is best known for writing the delightful Lighthouse Keeper series, including 'The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch'. Ronda enjoys creating stories full of adventure and fun, often inspired by the seaside and her love of the coast.
