Synopsis

Ten-year-old Astra embarks on a 199-year journey to a new planet with her family, spending the voyage in cryogenic sleep. Before hibernating, she requests the spaceship's food synthesiser to create the 'ultimate cake'. When Astra awakens early, she discovers the ship is overrun by monstrous, sentient cakes and invaded by spoon-obsessed aliens. With her robot friend Pilbeam, Astra must navigate these challenges to save the ship and its sleeping passengers.
