Synopsis

In 1899, twelve-year-old Lady Agatha Asquith is cast out of her ancestral home by her cruel cousin, Clarence, after her father's death. Forced to live in a tumbledown cottage with a stranger claiming to be her real father, Aggie is determined to uncover her true identity. As she adjusts to her new life, she encounters the restless spirit of a young girl on the shores of Gosswater Lake. Together, they seek to reveal the dark, terrible secrets of the past before the clock strikes midnight on the last day of the year.
