Synopsis

The Little Red Hen discovers some grains of wheat and decides to bake bread. She asks her friends—the cat, the dog, and the rat—for help at each stage: planting, harvesting, grinding, and baking. Each time, they refuse. When the bread is ready, they all want to eat it, but the Little Red Hen, having done all the work herself, decides to enjoy it alone. This classic tale teaches the value of hard work and cooperation.
