Synopsis

In 1936 Spain, young Antonito forms a deep bond with his calf, Paco. Upon discovering the brutal fate awaiting bulls in the corrida, Antonito resolves to save Paco. Their escape into the hills coincides with the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, leading to the destruction of their village. Alone and grieving, Antonito joins the Resistance, where tales of a mysterious black bull symbolising freedom emerge. Could this be Paco? A poignant tale of friendship, loss, and hope.
