Synopsis

For twelve years, the monstrous Grendel has terrorised King Hrothgar's kingdom, devouring its bravest warriors. Beowulf, the mightiest of the Geat warriors, arrives determined to defeat Grendel. After a fierce battle, Beowulf slays the beast with his bare hands, bringing peace to the land. However, the joy is short-lived, as Grendel's mother, a creature even more fearsome, seeks vengeance for her son's death.
