What is Гігантська ріпа about?
When Miss Honeywood’s class plants a vegetable garden, they are amazed when one turnip grows taller than a giraffe and wider than an elephant. The children try everything to pull it from the ground, but the giant vegetable will not budge. By working together and accepting help from others, they discover that even the biggest problems can be solved. This lively, funny retelling of a traditional Russian fairy tale celebrates teamwork while introducing young readers to plants, food, seasons and the natural world.
