Synopsis

Eleven-year-old May moves from the city to Thornton Hall, a grand countryside estate where her brother Ben has secured a gardener's position under false pretences. Alongside her new friend Alex, May uncovers secrets within the Hall, including a mysterious locked tower room guarded by the housekeeper, Mrs Daniels. As they rejuvenate the overgrown walled garden, Mrs Daniels becomes suspicious of Ben's deception. May faces the possibility of losing Thornton Hall just as she realises its significance for both herself and Alex.
