What is The fall of Fergal about?
Fergal McNally’s final words are a warning: “Don’t lean out that window!” But how did he end up falling from the Dell Hotel? Travelling back through the events leading to the disaster, we meet Fergal’s eccentric family as they accompany LeFay to a typing competition. Along the way, they encounter a suspicious house detective, a moustachioed ventriloquist and a parade of peculiar hotel guests. With its twists, mishaps and wonderfully dark humour, this is the first of the McNally family’s unlikely exploits.
