Amelia, spending Christmas in a grand old house, discovers a hidden diary in the attic. The diary, written by a boy from 1873, details his efforts to care for an abandoned wolf pup. As Amelia reads, she is mysteriously transported into the past, where she joins the boy in his quest to protect the wolf. Together, they face the challenges of the harsh winter and the dangers that threaten the pup's survival.
