Gwen has always dreamed of owning a pony, but her family's financial constraints make it impossible. To save money, she takes on odd jobs in her neighbourhood. When she starts helping Mrs Tilney, an elderly neighbour, Gwen is thrilled to discover that Mrs Tilney owns a pony named Teasel. They form a deep bond, but their happiness is threatened when Mrs Tilney falls ill and Teasel is sent away. Determined, Gwen sets out to reunite with her beloved pony.
