Synopsis

Icarus and his father, Daedalus, are imprisoned on an island by the tyrant King Minos. To escape, Daedalus crafts wings from feathers and wax. He warns Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, but Icarus, exhilarated by flight, ignores the caution. The sun's heat melts the wax, causing Icarus to fall into the sea.
