Synopsis
Adoette, a majestic oak tree, stood tall for a century, witnessing the changing world around her. She became the heart of her community, offering shade and shelter. One day, the townspeople decided to cut her down. However, hope blossoms when a young girl plants one of Adoette's acorns in the community garden, ensuring her legacy lives on.

Lydia Monks is a much-loved British author and illustrator. She is best known for working with Julia Donaldson on the popular ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ books. Lydia’s bright and cheerful drawings bring stories to life, and she enjoys inspiring children to be creative and use their imagination when reading and drawing.
