Synopsis
Kitty is tired of being a cat and envies the fun-filled life of dogs. They play, bark, and even become film stars! However, she soon realises that being a dog isn't all it's cracked up to be. Dogs have to follow commands, wear leads, and chew on old bones. Meanwhile, cats enjoy climbing trees, catching mice, and roaming freely. Through her journey, Kitty discovers that being herself is the best after all.

Lydia Monks is a much-loved British author and illustrator. She is best known for working with Julia Donaldson on the popular ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ books. Lydia’s bright and cheerful drawings bring stories to life, and she enjoys inspiring children to be creative and use their imagination when reading and drawing.
